I love FREE samples and these usually come with coupons, too! :)

Today's Coupon Adventures!

Target, Lowes Foods, & Bilo ~ Paid $26.54 ~ Saved $60.20! ~ 27 items at average of $0.98 each!

(I counted the 50 4x6 photo prints as only one item.)

Best deals: FREE (50) 4x6 photo prints, FREE Dawn dish liquid, and $0.12 candy bars!

I still have a $5 gift card to use on my next Target trip and have a total of $0.20 in fuel perks from the grocery stores!  So a pretty good day for deals if I do say so myself!

Remember to check out the Ramsey's Adventures in Savings Facebook page to see more couponing deals!

Target 6.11.12

Here is a snapshot of my Target deals from June 11.

Target ~ Paid $15.68 ~ Saved $31.64 ~ 25 items at avg of $0.63 each!

I did get my 10-cent discount for bringing my own 2 bags.

I'm a little annoyed with Target right now. I should have paid closer attention, but I was distracted.
I should have only paid about $10.70 but my $2/1 Target Mobile Coupon did not appear on my receipt even though the register seemed to accept it when the cashier scanned it. Also, 2 of the Lunchables rang up at the wrong price and I am pretty sure the children's toothpaste rang up about 50-cents higher than marked on the shelf! And I had to remind the cashier twice to scan the bag discount.

I am going to Target today with a friend of mine so I hope to straighten this out. I hate overpaying for anything! Have you ever had Target issues like this?

Elly Pasour, one of my dear couponing friends asked how I got this deal and I promised to share the coupon matchups so she could try to get some of these same items.  Below are the details!

• Kotex Natural Balance Liners, $0.99 - Use $2/2 Printable to get 2 FREE packages!
• Comet Stainless Steel Cleaner, $1.99 - Use $1/1 Target Printable AND use $0.75/1 from May All You magazine. Makes it $0.24
• Glade Scent Decors, $2.99 - Use $0.50/1 Target Printable AND use $2/1 Glade Printable. Makes it $0.49
• Oscar Mayer Lunchables, $1.00 - Use $1/2 Target Printable (there are 2 available so print 4). Makes them $0.50 each.
• Maybelline Mascara, $4.44 - Use $1/1 Maybelline coupon 4/15 RP. Makes it $3.44 - not a great deal, but I needed mascara.
• Aquafresh Kids, $1.89 - Use $1/1 Target Printable AND use $1/1 Aquafresh Kids from May All You magazine or $1/1 Aquafresh Kids 4/15 RP. Makes it FREE!
• Aquafresh Extreme Clean Travel Size, $0.97 - Use $1/1 Aquafresh Printable. Makes it FREE!
• Nivea for Men Shaving Balm, $4.94 - Use $2/1 Nivea Men's Target Mobile Coupon AND use $2.25/1 Nivea Printable. Makes it $0.69

Bi-Lo Customer Survey & Sweepstakes

Every time you shop at Bi-Lo, there is a survey code listed at the bottom of your receipt.  Visit the website listed, complete a 5 minute survey about your trip to Bi-Lo and you can enter the monthly drawing for $250 in groceries and print a coupon for a FREE store brand item.

Recently I have seen FREE Southern Home refrigerated bagels (5 count), FREE 8 ounce Top Care hand sanitizer, FREE 66-count box of Southern Home facial tissue, and most recently a FREE 6-count box of Southern Home fruit snacks.  This coupon expires August 14.  Cool little rewards for taking 5 minutes to provide feedback about your Bi-Lo experience!  And who knows...maybe I'll be the one who wins the $250 in groceries!! ;-)

Bi-Lo: My Top Picks 6/6-6/12/12

Not a whole lot of deals for me at Bi-Lo this week.  Many of the "top deals" you can actually get better prices on at Lowe's Foods or Harris Teeter.

Remember with Bi-Lo to take your own bags for that 5-cent per bag discount AND to take the survey at the bottom of your receipt for a FREE Southern Home or Top Care (store brands) product.  Last month the FREEBIE was a five-count bag of refrigerated bagels.  Right now through June 18, you can get a FREE 8 ounce bottle of hand sanitizer!

My Picks:

• Kraft Barbecue Sauce, 17.5-18 oz, 99¢
-$1/2 Kraft barbecue sauce bottles, SS 5/06 (EXP 06/06)
  (makes it 49¢ ea.)

I'm not rushing out to stock up on this because I believe I will be able to snag BBQ sauce for less if not FREE this month at another time or another store.

FREE Doughnuts June 1: National Doughnut Day

Friday, June 1 is apparently National Doughnut Day (who knew?!) and two of the major doughnut chains are offering up FREE doughnuts to customers on this day!

Krispy Kreme e-club members will get a FREE doughnut - you must sign up to get this deal!  Here is the LINK to register.

Dunkin Donuts is giving away a FREE doughnut with the purchase of any drink!

I have learned that National Doughnut Day began as a fundraiser for the Salvation Army in 1938.  This event is held annually on the first Friday of June in honor of the female volunteers of World War 1 who served doughnuts to soldiers behind the front lines.  Learn more about this unique holiday from the Wikipedia article by clicking here.
